Finally my perverted Uncle sent me something fun to watch.  Although, it should not be funny, I should be crying.

Ah, the great Etta James is coming to Las Vegas. I just happened to stumble across the entertainment schedule for The Orleans Casino. She’ll be here October 12 thru 14th, 2007, at the Orleans Casino.

The Blues is my absolute favorite music. I prefer the more Mississippi Delta Blues, but most any kind of blues speaks to my heart. Etta James pretty much sings it all. I think she’s been singing as long as I’ve been alive, maybe longer. I get great joy listening to her. I should listen to her more often. In October I’ll be sitting there and soaking it all up!

Here you can hear the influence she had on Janis Joplin. I don’t know what show this is, but it looks like maybe the early 1960s.

This one is just too cute! Finally I found the longer version. Most of the version of this that go around are the shortened version. I just can’t get enough of the Hippo and the dog. Its a shame the creator didn’t put a signature on it.
