I will write more about Tim and his partner later. He and his partner were sort of my constant buddies at BlogWorld Expo. At times I wondered if Tim was the spawn of Bobby Lee somehow… Very similar personalities. Although, I never saw Tim running around in his underwear.
Tim really wants to meet some girls. When he hit Vegas he thought he scored! Some girl was talking with him and coming on to him! He thought, COOL! Then she asked him if he had any money…
So I wanted to put him on my blog. He was out late at the party last night and today was completely hung over. He got to his booth at about 2pm. LOL
Hey, girls, he IS employed!
He’s a very serious geek and programs for a living. Although, he isn’t the least big serious! Post your undying love comment for Tim and I’ll see that he gets it. (use the comment button below this post.)

I finally got to meet my hero! I have been a huge fan of Leo LaPorte for years. He used to host the Screen Savers show on ZDTV, which change to something else, then something else again and then something else again…. and now it is G4. Why is the channel now G4? Hell if I know. I’m pretty good at marketing, buy hey, I guess there was some really secret formula involved there I can’t quite decrypt.
Anyway, I wanted to get a photo with him after his keynote but the crowd gathered before I could run up to him.
Later I saw him chatting with some folks. So I rudely interupted and another guy took our photo. Mr. LaPorte is very approachable, easy to talk with and has helped me with many, many computer dilemmas via his numerous shows. It was such a joy to get to speak with him, if only for a minute.

http://www.blogworldexpo.com/
There will be numerous exhibitors, classes that span three days, networking opportunities, luncheons, receptions and keynote speakers.
From what I’ve seen on their website it looks like the perfect conference for newbees like me and old timers.
I’ve been wanting to start podcasting for a long time now but have been stumped on a few things. I’m sure this will help me get started.
I live in Las Vegas so it is really easy for me to attend. I hope many others from all over will be there.
So, in November, 2007, at the Blog World Expo, See ya in Vegas, Baby!
